This was the first quarter (April - June) of the financial year 2007-08, but it was second for Cartels Software. As you already know the company had outperformed in the last quarter because of new projects that were started. But this quarter had been an average with the total revenue for the quarter at  Rs 4 Lacs which was on the lower side of our projected revenue for the quarter. So although we had a great and early lift off but are not yet ready to fly. And that’s the reason I say we are still in the ground effect.

 

This quarter we had done maintenance of our existing projects and no new projects were started. We have quite a lot new prospects that we are still talking to, so the next quarter looks prospective.

 

This quarter we added 2 new consultants who would be doing sales and marketing for the company, and 1 in development. So that brings our total to 15 consultants for our services spread all over India.

 

With an average second quarter, I look forward for picking up in the next quarter and I thank everyone for your support and good wishes.
