| Project 2: ALPS PDA based Auditing and Inventory |
The core of ALPS production is auditing, but this is a full-on bar service. ALPS
continue to audit the bar every week, and can work with the owner or manager to organize the stockroom and even make up
purchase orders every week to make sure the inventory is at a manageable level.
PDA based ALPS provide auditors with the capability to move around the bar and scan the bottles using a barcode scanner and
complete the audit. He is always connected to his database on the laptop using 802.11b/g wireless connectivity to get real
time data from/into the system. |
